HEAVY ART DECO PINK AND WHITE GEMSTONE STERLNG SILVER RING. UNUSUAL ROLLED DESIGN. 925. HEAVY!

This is an unusual Art Deco piece featuring pink and white gemstones claw set in sterling silver in a rolled design, with the white stones forming a banded border on either side of the pink stones. The 22mm wide x 7mm long ring head is raised 5mm above the finger. In profile, the slim shank is a sterling silver square, with a central openwork hole for the finger. The shank thickens on the shoulders and curves to form a teardrop shape on either end of the roll. Very solid and heavy at 5,55 grams, this unusual horizontal ring is comfortable and snug on the finger. No idea what the stones are but they are not real gemstones - probably white and pink cubic zirconia. Despite the modern design, it is quite an old vintage piece! Bears a few scuff marks in keeping with its age but beautifully made and still in good condition. Just a rather unusual ring!
