The G3 smartphone is enabled for all South African networks and can connect to the Internet via WIFI. 

Applications installed include the MS Office Mobile suite, MSN Money, Tasks, Calendar, Skype, Facebook,  QQ, Adobe Reader LE; more may be added by downloading from the Internet.

The built-in SIRF star III GPS chip enables the phone to become a turn-by-turn, voice-guided navigation system. South African maps are included. No connection to the Cellphone Network or to the Internet is required so there are no hidden costs when navigating.
