This painting is in excellent condition

As is the case with all oil paintings, this painting does have hairline cracks which is quite normal. The paint is secure to the canvas and is not loose.

An extremely well preserved frame considering its age. It is fully intact with no missing pieces. There are fine cracks in the ornamentation which is to be expected. The gilding is dull and would look amazing re-gilded.

The courier charges include the artwork being exceptionally well crated. Packing process as follows:

a) double bubble wrap

b) 20mm styrofoam both sides

c) 16mm thick wood frame sides

d) 3mm MDF (masonite) top and bottom screwed down
