Designed for spiritual guidance, meditation, healing, and empowerment, the pictures in the GaiaStar Codex are mesmerizing and renewing. Each image was created by taking a photograph of a natural element (a leaf or a feather, for example) and digitally rearranging and layering its shape, colors, and components.
The introduction to the GaiaStar book explains the concept and creation of the Codex; the significance of each of the sixty-four images is discussed individually; and the book suggests several alternative ways to use the cards. The full-color GaiaStar Map is provided as an organizational tool.
