Appearance
Warty skin: The most notable feature of the Galeux d'Eysines is its salmon-peach or pinkish-orange skin, which is covered in thick, peanut-like growths. This texture has led to its nickname "Peanut Pumpkin".
Size and shape: The pumpkins are flattened and round, often compared to a wheel of cheese. They typically weigh between 10 and 15 pounds (about 710 kg), but some can grow as large as 20 kgs.
Flesh: The interior features bright, almost neon-orange flesh that is sweet, moist, and smooth-textured.
