Galileo Galilei Thermometer
The name Galileo Galilei refers to an Italian scientist 1564 - 1642 who founded modern physics with its reliance on expeiments - he succeeded in developing a thermometer based on the law of physics which states that the specific gravity of liquids changes as they expand at different temperatures.
This glass thermometer with the colourful spheres was developed by Dr. Friedrichs Gruppe in Germany. The current temperature is shown by the lowest degree sphere still floating.
