This equates to approximately 125 m/s, which is fairly standard.The Gamo PX-107 is the most "toy-like" of the Gamo range of CO-2 pistols. It is not built to look or feel like any particular make of handgun, unlike the Gamo PT-80 which looks and feels like the Beretta Cougar or the Gamo PT-90 which has the size and feel of the Hecklar & Koch USP. If the Gamo PX-107 resembles any "real" handgun, then ithas the outline of the Norinco NP-20.The other aspect of the Gamo PX-107 is that is has no moving parts,nor does it have a steel "slide" such as the Gamo V3 pistols as it ismade entirely from plastic. Entirely plastic except for the barrel, which is rifled steel. The frame beneath the muzzle has a slide rail to accommodate a laser sighting device.Accurate and reliable, the Gamo PX-107 has a double-action onlytrigger and the manual safety switch is positioned forward, above thetrigger on the left side of the "frame". This forces the shooter to use his left hand to engage or dis-engage the safety as it is not ambidextrous.The magazine release button is in the familiar position just behind thetrigger guard and also only on the left hand side.
