The Gamo Whisper IGT introduces the latest Gamo innovation. The IGT (Inert Gas Technology) Air Rifle enhances airgun technology and takes pellet gun shooting to the next level. The Mechanism
¿¿¿ The Gamo Whisper IGT fires at a velocity of 1200 ft/s when using PBA Platinum pellets, and 950 ft/s when using standard match grade pellets. It is a single shot break barrel with single cocking system and automatic cocking safety, the barrel is fluted polymer jacketed steel with ND52 technology, requiring a cocking effort of only 32 lbs. It has a second stage adjustable trigger with manual safety.
The Stock
¿¿¿ The Gamo Whisper IGT has a tough all weather synthetic moulded stock with butt plate and ventilated rubber pad for recoil absorption. It has an ambidextrous cheek piece with stock checkering.

Gamo Whisper IGT Review
Every now and then a technology comes along that is truly not gimmicky and revolutionises the way guns perform. The IGT system which is basically a gas ram is one such technology. It virtually eliminates any recoil and has a much longer life span than a spring system. The other noticeable thing about this gun is the weight. The stock is incredibly light and doesn't feel like a standard pellet gun at all. We're not so sure about the silencer making a huge difference but the IGT system and the stock make the gun something truly different and special. The trigger although is plastic. Bit disappointing Gamo... But it is a softer trigger and performs beautifully. This air rifle is going to be a big hit and find it's way on to many wish lists.
