Gangs

Weapons are still part of the package and violence and intimidation prevail. It wasn't so different for gangs organized and 'managed' by the Krays or Richardsons, both based in London, or their peers. For several years, young generations of gangs have been described in the press, within inner cities, as the new "extended family", but violence persists. Many young gang members, and other close associates, face death through stabbings and shootings. This book takes a look at not only the gang culture that exists for youngsters today but how gangs operated in the 20th century.
