Guy Cooper and Gordon Taylor are best known in the publishing world for their first book, Paradise Transformed, which took 4.5 years and 20,000 miles of travel to research. While trying to write the screenplay for Virginia Woolf's Orlando (to which they own the rights) they were asked to 'babysit' a friend's herb farm. Captivated by this they became Directors of the Herb Society in London and now run their own landscape design company.
