Providing a complete navigation solution and an easy-to-use user interface, the nuvi 50 navigates you safely to your required destination.  It features an extra wide 5.0" (12.9cm) colour touchscreen display, text-to-speech and is supplied with preloaded Garmin City Navigator Southern Africa maps with FREE map updates till the 31 December 2012.  Simply look up addresses or services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that pronounce street names to your destination.  Designed to make navigation easy, simply enter an address and premium features including Lane Assist with Junction View, help you make all the right turns and with its extra wide screen display you never miss a notification.

• Cyclops speed camera alerts:  Fixed, average speed, mobile and temporary cameras already built in.  New or moved cameras are tracked and the database is updated regularly for subscribed users
• Configurable vehicle icons:  Allows users to select fun, customised car-shape icons
• "Where Am I" safety feature:  Find the closest hospitals, police & petrol stations, nearest address, intersection and co-ordinates.
