Great Britain 1856 Cover addressed to Halifax Nova Scotia, franked 1854 imperf 6 mauve, just touching at top and left, neatly cancelled by a London City '19' numeral
with a handstruck "1d" red" "Quatered circle" inspectors mark and green Liverpool lozenges transit datestamp.
Backstamped London dispatch for 'DE 7 1855' and a Windsor NS arrival datestamp for 'DEC 19 1855'.
Faults on reverse but a very presentable example of this difficult adhesive on cover
