The story Gears of War is set in the future wear a force known as the Locust are waging war.

Your Marcus Fenix who starts off in jail. Dom a soldier busts you out then you must make it to the chopper. The prison is full of Lucust force that you battle.

Marcus Fenix is apart of Delta Squad and your mission is to find Alpha squad who is missing, and are in possession of something that can turn the tide in the war.

The graphics are unreal and Marcus and Dom are massively built in size and wear cool war torn Armour. The weapons rock from heavy chunky sounding artillery to a laser strike where you point and watch a bright beam destruct everything on target. But the best weapon of all is the chainsaw as a bayonet. Gears of war is bloody and a hardcore action shooter, where the aim of the game is to, protect yourself - behind objects while taking fire, reloading or waiting for your health to repair itself, and to give the best display of fire power the Locust have ever seen.
