Please note: that this ruby is lead glass filled which detracts from its durability, it's also easily damaged by acids, amonnia and sonic cleaners and jewelers must be careful when setting this stone. However this does not mean the stone is not suited for jewelery and with care it will last a lifetime. Most of the high quality rubies on crazy wednesday are lead glass filled. I try however to educate my buyers while my competition does not.

You can usually find these valuated at over R15 000-R150 000, sadly I'm informed that these are valued at approximately 95% less. Still this stone will make a fine piece of jewelery!
