The Gene Cafe electric home coffee roaster allows you to roast up to 250g per roast, using a hot air heat source and roasting with an off axis rotation. The machine allows you to set the temperature and time settings manually, has a glass chamber so you can view your roast to determine completion, and even has an external chaff collector (yay, no mess), and, wait for it, its pretty quiet too.

This is definitely one of the best home appliances you can invest in, but can also handle the roast requirements for a small coffee shop.
