General Electric vintage fridge

This fridge is over 50 years old and still runs perfectly. It is a classic Vintage fridge by GE of USA and has a 110V compressor and is fitted with the original transformer. We have owned the fridge for over 40 years and in that time it has never failed - it has not required re-gassing in the time we have owned it.

The interior is enamelled and after all these years is still rust-free. We had the exterior case and door re-sprayed just over 2 years ago and had the handle re-chromed. The racks were re-coated and a new magnetic door seal fitted.  Over the years the plastic rack inside the door developed a few cracks which have been repaired with epoxy so it is not perfect but is functional.  

We recently moved to a retirement village and are reluctantly selling due to the lack of a larger freezer - this model fridge has the ice-box of the 50s and 60s.
