Slade Wallace General Service Buff Leather Frog for P1888 MkII bayonet used on Metford rifles. Used by British troops during the Boer War. No official markings. The frog is 9-1/2" long and has a belt opening of 2-3/4" to fit the standard leather waist-belt. Condition as per pictures. Ideal for Boer War re-enacting or displaying a British bayonet.
