THIS IS A GENUINE, GARRANTEED, ANTIQUE ENGRAVING OF A MAP OF AFRICA. I WOULD GUESS THE MAP IS FROM THE 1880s. THE MAP HAS BEEN HANDCOLOURED WITH WATER COLOURS AND IS ON A VERY FINE PAPER, ALMOST LIKE A TISSUE PAPER, ALTHOUGH SLIGHTLY THICKER. THERE IS SOME FOXING BUT REALLY NOT BAD. IT IS NOT FRAMED BUT HAS A FRAMING BOARD.THERE ARE NO TEARS BUT HAS SOME CREASING OF THE PAPER.
