Genuine Seahorse brand in copper and brass

A must have for any nautical collector with original globe and red screen

Original and unrestored

This is a real beauty and a genuine antique ship's port light, a must have for nautical collectors.

Overall condition is good, with some wear and dents as can be expected from a piece this old.

It is unrestored, unpolished and completely original. The copper and brass has not been polished in a long time and has the appropriate patina.

The brass catch that holds the lid closed is loose but can easily be repaired by inserting a pin and the lens is cracked.

It appears to have the original old globe and the red screen is also original and completely intact.

The light has a height of 33cm and a diameter of 35cm at the widest area, weighing just over 8kg. It is a solid, heavy piece, unlike many modern reproductions.

This piece will look awesome hanging on a wall in any nautical collection. Because of its size it can even stand on the floor or a small table!
