Genuine early wooden Texaco Zenith motor spirit box - very rare

Genuine early wooden Texaco Zenith motor spirit box - very rare. I could not find many of these crates in the internet. This old crate would have been used to hold 5 gallon can, and I would estimate that it dates back to the 1940/50s. It is double sided, but for some strange reason, the signage on one side is upside down on the inside. I believe that it was originally like this, as the patina indicates this. The box has "Texaco, The Texas Company, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., Zenith Motor Spirit, Manufactured at Port Authur, Texas, U.S.A." with the red star and green T. On the other 2 sides, it has "Zenith Motor Spirit, Highly Inflamable". All the writing is lightly etched into the wood. The box measures 38cm x 37cm x 25cm. It is in good condition for its age. Great original buy for the collector.
