Genuine vintage SAR coach builders plate `Built at Uitenhage Works - 1916`

Genuine vintage SAR coach builders plate "Built at Uitenhage Works - 1916". This old SAR coach builders plate dates to 1916. Builders plates are cast metal plates that are affixed to locomotives, rolling stock and other railroad equipment, with identifying information features. This particular plate is manufactured from brass and I think is a coach plate, and has "South African Railways, Built at Uitenhage Works, 1916" on it. It measures 52cm x 9cm, and is heavy weighing over 2kg. It is in good condition. Great buy for the collector.
