A lovely  19th century silver dessert spoon assayed in London in 1783 by acclaimed woman silversmith Hester Bateman. The spoon is in the old English pattern and is monogrammed . It measures 17cm long, weighs 31 grams and is in great condition for age. There is some minor wear to the tip of the bowl, a minute nick on the side at the shoulders, and some rubbing to the Bateman mark, but it's still distinctive.
