Georgian Silver Card Tray/Teapot Stand (1817) 

This lovely, fine quality, solid silver, antique, George III card tray or teapot stand is oval, with an attractive gadroon and floral border and stands on four wonderful cast feet, with acanthus and shell decoration. The tray was made in London, England in 1817 by one of two silversmiths, either 'Henry Nutting' or 'Hannah Northcote' (HN), and has the original hand engraved armorial or crest in the centre with the motto 'VERITAS' (Goddess of Truth). This fabulous piece is in great condition with a nice weight and measures 21,5cm x 17cm, stands 2,8cm and weighs 347g.
