A good Georgian silver salt spoon in the popular old English pattern made by Peter and William Bateman in London in 1812. The spoon measures 9.5cm long, weighs 10 grams, is monogrammed T and is in good condition for its almost 200 years of age. There is some slight dulling of the silver in the bowl, which does not detract and the makers mark, while readable, is rubbed. A lovely addition to any collection of early silver.
