Botanical name: Pelargoneum graveolens

Common uses: Can be used as an astringent, haemostatic, diuretic, antiseptic, anti-depressant, tonic, antibiotic, anti-spasmodic and as an anti-infectious agent.

Geranium is an uplifting oil and has a great all-over balancing effect which extends to the skin - where it helps to create balance between oily and dry skin, emotions - where it helps to relieve feelings of stress and anxiety, and the hormone system. The strong smell is particularly good to ward off mosquitoes and head lice and is good to relieve fluid retention and help fight cellulite.

Bath Water: Add 4 - 6 drops to your bathwater.¿¿Lie and relax for at least 15 -¿20 minutes.

Candle Burner:¿ Fill the candle burner with water or coarse sea salt.¿Add 4 - 6 drops to¿the water or sea salt and enjoy the aroma.

Other:¿ Add 5 drops to 10 ml of carrier oil or aqueous lotion and use for massage. Can also be added to pot pourri.

Essential oils can also be blended with other essential oils but do not exceed the number of drops of oil used.
