Gerard Bhengu, a self-taught Zulu artist from Natal. Tidemarks to the lower edges with some light cockling and soiling to the pages. The title page and following 3 pages are loose as well as from Page 59 to 68. Beautiful and expressive sepia and coloured illustrations. 69 Pages.

Binding: Linen boards. Tidemark to the lower edge. Slight bend in the boards. Bright red lettering. Some edge-wear to the extremities.

Jacket Condition: Very poor. Some large open and closed tears and creasing. Long split to the front flyleaf and spine. Tidemarks, some soiling with clear tape re-inforcing on the verso.
