Gerber Myth Pocket Folding Knife

The Myth series is a very interesting series of edged tools geared to the requirements of hunters. All the tools share a commonality in the fact that they feature a new handle design which Gerber describe as being of a textured soft rubberised material. This is the major feature of all the tools in the series, and most also come with rear lanyard attachment points. I have attached a 2m 550 Paracord, hand stitched (Cobra Stitch) Lanyard that can be unravelled for emergencies.

Myth Folding Knife

In this folder a black sabre point blade is held by a slim and ergonomically designed handle. Measuring 12.3cm in the closed position and 21cm when fully deployed, the high carbon stainless steel 9cm blade has dual thumb studs to assist easy one handed opening. Balance is incredible and weight is only 88g. The back lock blade has a length of gimping (ridges) along the spine near the large thumb studs and continues back as ribbing on the handle. A half guard is built into the handle and the textured coating of the scales offers a very sure comfortable grip in all conditions. This strong lock back folders overall length will suit airgun hunter to the PH.
The lanyard point is seen at the rear section of the handle.  Included here on this Myth, is 2m, handmade Cobra Knot Lanyard, made from genuine 550 Paracord.  Like all ‘Myth’ tools it’s finished in a highly practical yet stylish green with buff trim. The Myth Folding Sheath Knife is supplied in a strong, durable Nylon Sheath.
Despite its very slim profile, the handles front finger guard and top front upper ribbing make this a lovely knife to handle for those who only need a minimal sized blade in the field – an ideal tool for preparing bird, trout or rabbit.
