This white shirt was used by Germany national team as the home kit for two years, between 2010 and 2012. This shirt is a new innovation by Adidas, using the Techfit technology from their baselayer range to be made into jerseys that will be used by players. Therefore this Techfit jersey is considered to be a Player Issue shirt as the replica one uses the same Climacool technology. This shirt comes in a box set, together with a captain armband coloured with the colour of the Germany flag and with the German word Spielführer which means "Team Captain" in English. The shirt itself featured rubber Adidas logo and the 3 stripes down the sleeves. The German FA crest were made out of plastic material and is printed onto a black cloth which is stitched onto the shirt. The 3 plastic stars above the crest represents the 3 World Cup titles Germany won (as of the time of production of the shirt in 2010), and is numbered 54, 74 and 90 respectively to represent the years Germany won the World Cup. At the bottom of the shirt there is a TECHFIT tag.
