In 1985/86 the German Bundeswehr introduced her very first camouflage uniform in history. Both, cloth and pattern were very similiar to those of the Waffen-SS - and that was exactly the reason why this superb military clothing had been rejected (!) by the officials. Production had immediately been stopped and the few delivered uniforms to the market had been called back.

Only very few samples of this prototype are still available.
