German East Africa Deutsch-Ostafrikanische Bank 50 Rupien 15.6.1905 Pick 3a

An attractive and evenly circulated example of this rare German East Africa issue with its Iconic design depicting Kaiser Wilhelm II in his cavalry uniform.

Rarely  encountered and even less frequently so in this collectible GOOD FINE or slightly better condition. A few folds and light staining commensurate with its age evident but still displaying good paper quality with no tears or distracting imperfections. A decidedly earlier printing and the slightly rarer variant with serial NO.3581 on the face only, making this a particularly desirable and collectible piece from this German Colonial era.

Catalogues according to PMG at over $500 in this condition.
