Bayonet numbers are K.S. 1436 with matching steel scabbard K.S 1436. Bayonet has some major damage to leather grip but otherwise in a good condition. 



Made at Erfurt, Germany in 1907 with original leather grips in a rather bad condition. Bayonets has a sawback blade. bayonet was likely used by German South West African Schutztruppe and likely captured by South African troops in 1914/15 and taken home as souvenirs. Matching bayonet and scabbard combinations are quite un-common.
