Pair Victorian 'Gilt Decorated - Handkerchief' Glass Vases
This amazing pair of antique, hand-blown 'handkerchief' glass vases from the late 1800's, have a wonderful shape and are beautifully hand decorated in gold, featuring a garland of flowers and a ribbon bow, with a gold-leaf rim. They're short, round and squat with a handkerchief ruffled shape top and scalloped rounded sides. They're identical in shape but one is slightly bigger than the other, and other than very minor gilt loss they're in excellent condition. One stands 10,5cm with a diameter of 13cm, and the other stands 9,5cm with a diameter of 12cm, and together they weigh 870g.
