Orignal world war two medal.

The German WW2 Eastern Front Medal, officially the Eastern Front Medal (Ostmedaille), was awarded for service during the harsh 1941-1942 winter campaign on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union, nicknamed the "Frozen Meat Medal" (Gefrierfleischorden) due to its design and the brutal conditions, recognizing soldiers who endured extreme cold and combat, and it was also given posthumously.
