German WWII Army Heer Officer Dagger
New Made Item: This is not the cheap version out of China. Instead these are high quality steel construction reproduction made exclusively for IMA by one the world s best edged weapon makers (a contractor to the USMC).
The German Army (Heer) first carried a dagger beginning in 1935. The weapon was worn in lieu of occasions not demanding the wear of a sword. The dagger design was quite attractive featuring silvered heavy fittings with white or colored grip. The crossguard depicted a Wehrmacht open-winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The pommel depicted oak leafing around the outer circumference. The scabbard had panels of pebble designs. Later produced examples were plated with nickel, and late war-made pieces were unplated, finished in a gray color metal. These daggers are often encountered with an aluminum portepee, a decorative tassel wrapped about the grip.
Our fine reproduction features a bright steel blade, nickel-plated steel body, mid-war colored grip, nickel plated fittings and scabbard.

Delivery
Goods ship from the USA and are delivered in approx. 7 – 14 business days. A tracking number is sent once the item arrives from the USA and is customs cleared in Johannesburg – this typically takes 4 – 10 business days.
It takes approximately 7 to 14 business days for good to touch down in South Africa. Once it arrives in SA it will be submitted to Customs (SARS) for clearance, once they are satisfied and release the shipment we can dispatch the item(s) to you. Delivery to you from the time it leaves our Johannesburg office takes 1 to 6 business days depending on where you are located and what delivery method is used.
Delivery via courier is limited to Johannesburg and surrounds, Pretoria, Vaal Triangle, Witbank, Middleburg, Rustenburg, Hartebeespoort, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, most of the KZN coast, Cape Town, Paarl, and Hermanus. Other towns are serviced via the post office.

All plugs are intended for use in the USA and so it may require an input power of no great than 110v. In order for it to work in South Africa you may require a 220v to 110v step down transformer. Only items which are 220v compatible will not require a transformer and we will include an adapter free of charge
