1943 Germany 1 Reichspfennig coin struck at the Berlin Mint (A mintmark) during World War II.
This wartime issue was struck in zinc rather than bronze due to wartime shortages of strategic metals. The obverse features the denomination 1 flanked by oak leaves, while the reverse displays the German eagle above a wreath enclosing the swastika, typical of Third Reich coinage.
A representative wartime issue and a popular type for collectors of German and World War II era coins.
Circulated example with moderate wear, some surface marks and the typical dull grey appearance associated with zinc wartime issues. Main design elements remain visible and identifiable.
