"Mrs Bradshaw"
Geum is a zone hardy herbaceous perennial. The geum "Mrs. Bradshaw" produces lovely scarlet, semi-double flowers that are shaped like tiny roses. The soft, fuzzy foliage is attractive and different. Mrs. Bradshaw stands 1m (3' )tall with a spread of 30cm (12 ¿¿¿ 18")
Plant geum in full sun. Afternoon shade can be tolerated in moist, well drained soil. Soil that retains some moisture, even in summer, are best for geum. Adding leaf mold to your garden aids in moisture retention. Zone 5
Geum is easy to care for and is not bothered by pests or insects. It is great for boarders and mass plantings.
