Giant, Giant, Giant.  The Giant Atlantic Pumpkin is an orange squash fruit, which grows to anything from 68 kilogram to over 910 Kilograms, the winning weight so far was recorded in 2021, to a whopping weight of 1,226 kilogram.  This variety is regularly grown for competitions.

The large pumpkins are rarely eaten, as it becomes very stringy, so if you are growing this for food production, harvest it earlier, when the spring coil vine at the main vine attachment to the pumpkin has dried and turned brown completely.

This variety usually does not have the most squashy flavour, but it will surely quench your thirst, as it holds water well inside the flesh.
