Giant Garlic is one of the most popular varieties to grow. With a beautiful flavour and very little peeling to do before you get to the good stuff, and a lot of it. They are great for making crushed garlic, used in cooking or making flakes.
Sow them in well-draining composted soil, you can also root them in water first in your windowsill and plant them as soon as they sprout. The Giant Garlic sometimes makes an onion and sometimes produces more bulbs, so you never know in their first year.
