While Australia has some giants in Australian Rugby, its South African JP du Preez who holds the mantle of the tallest Super Rugby player. Du Preez debuted for the Lions off the bench in round two last year and stands at 209cm.

The Lions are a South African professional rugby union team from Johannesburg who competes in the Super Rugby competition. They were previously known as the Cats between the 1998 and 2006 seasons.
