It is a fast–growing fine grass, a hybrid of indigenous grasses.

It is heat and frost resistant, it can survive snow and black frost

Grows equally well in full sun and full shade

Easy to plant and can be sown all year round

Easy to maintain although it prefers irrigation

Does not go brown in winter, it is the greenest grass you will ever see

Stays green in the Highveld during winter!

Grows in poor soil

Germinates quickly in 3 - 12 days

Every 2 weeks each blade of grass sends out a runner so it is continually thickening

Made for farm animal fodder

Not labour intensive

Needs approximately 2 months for roots to grow to be sufficiently ready for grazing
