About the Artist and the painting
Biography: Giò Mondelli, multifaceted artist born in '53: draftsman, graphic artist, portraitist. He has exhibited his works at the most important artistic events. Expert art critics recognize the artist as a singular interpretation of the landscape. His works appear in private collectors. in Belgium, Germany, France and the United States.
Research: After attending the Free Academy of Fine Arts, the artist devoted himself for a long time to what the world of art is. Mainly his pictorial research was to discover new techniques, styles and trends. His works, after the academic career, already express what is the painting of the Symbolists and Surrealists. For a short time he painted more classical, Macchiaioli and hyperrealist works. Not satisfied, due to his hunger for research and the inner restlessness of a difficult childhood, he must always seek himself, thus entering the spirit of the Expressionists. All this made the artist Giò Mondelli discover that world called Art.
Emotions: There is nothing more exciting, seeing a landscape that is not what it is, but only the fantasy of your imagination. This print is a square, with both sides measuring 900 x 900 mm, which is slightly shorter than the longest side on a maxi poster. Please see below diagram for size comparison to our mate Dave.
