Giovanni Schoeman enjoys a quiet renown and a substantial and very loyal following among private collectors and business leaders. His work has been enjoyed and recognized on three continents. Giovanni was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 1940 and studied at the Johannesburg School of art, RSA, the Rawnsley Academy, London, the Academy of Arts and Crafts, Holland and the Brera Academy, Italy.

Commissions included sculptures for Rolls Royce, IT&T and a life size bust of the Sheik Adula Al'Burikain of Saudi Arabia. He also completed a life size bronze of Sylvester Stalone for the film "Rocky 2"

Giovanni Schoeman embraced the philosophy that the greatest use of life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.
