Lutterworth periodicals limited, 1941. Large Format Vintage Hardback - Girls Annual - 480 pages. Gift inscription. A good sound copy of what has become an extremely scarce annual. This book is in good condition internally with very little foxing to end-papers. The gilt lettering on the spine is nice and bright, the boards are good, there is some damage at the bottom of the spine.
The rare wartime Girls Own Annual featuring the first appearance of Worrals (Biggles) of the WAAFS. Contains the 12 episodes of the story, also 5 episodes of the Ravensdale Mystery under W E Johns' pseudonym William Earle.
Volume 62 was the last of the Annual volumes of Girls Own.
