The light bulbtakes around 5 hours to fully charge to 100% and can easily be charged by simplyleaving the light turned on when there's no loadshedding. If your light isturned on and a power outage or loadshedding occurs, then the light bulb goesinto emergency mode, changing to a cool white colour.While in emergency mode, the brightness can be manually adjusted between 3pre-configured settings and can sustain up to 5 hours of additional use duringloadshedding at the 25% brightness setting. Leaving thelightbulb off for a while will reset the brightness setting back to its default100% brightness.Smart Bulb Technology enables the bulb to determine if there is a power failureas opposed to the light switch being turned off. If the light switch is on andthe power fails, the bulb will activate emergency mode and switch from WarmWhite to Cool White.
