Binding intact. Signature and dated address of previous owner on font end page. Inside pages are crisp and white. B/w photographs. The jacket is unclipped. Tears at spine ends and corners. Small paper loss at top front corner. In 1903 a biography in three volumes were published by Lord Morley. However since then a mass of intimate personal and other unpublished material became available to which the Gladstone family gave Sir Philip Magnus freedom of access.
