GLORIOUS LARGE, YELLOW-GOLD-HUED STERLING SILVER DROP AND DANGLE EARRINGS WITH RASPBERRY RUBIES AND BAROQUE PEARLS. 925
These eye-catching drop and dangle earrings are crafted in yellow gold-hued sterling silver. Measuring a glorious 58mm long x 15mm wide, the first element dangling from the long hook is an inverted pear-shape, set with a bezel set, pear-faceted natural raspberry ruby. This is raised above a lower tier of 16 x round cut, claw set raspberry rubies that are confined by a slightly raised, tactile frame edge. The second element is a 15mm diameter, creamy Baroque pearl with a distinctive soft pink hue, below which are 2 x small freshwater pearls (?) in the same soft pink. The elements are all joined by double openwork links, ensuring plenty of movement. The earrings bear the 925 hallmark for sterling silver and weigh 15 grams together. The colours are striking, the contrast between the raspberry red and warm yellow gold is beautifully offset by the soft, pinkish iridescence; and the size of the earring adds to the impact.
