LARGE OVAL AMETHYST WITH 9CT YELLOW GOLD AMETHYST BORDER DETAILED SHANK. DIAMOND ACCENTS
This piece features a large oval faceted amethyst raised on elongated claws in 9ct yellow gold, bordered by a ruff of smaller round cut amethysts. The ruff is accented by openwork under the gemstones that allow light through to maximise colour and sparkle. A slim 9ct yellow gold shank holds the cage supporting the ring head and this is embellished by 4 x natural small diamonds (two in each shoulder). The ring head measures 17mm wide x 13mm long and sits 4mm above the finger. The piece bears the 375 hallmark and 9K indicating 9ct yellow gold. The ring weighs 2,16 grams. A beautiful, elegant piece, lovely on the hand!
