The history of a beautiful old house designed by Herbert Baker for Louis Cloete on part of the famous Alphen estate in the Constantia valley in Cape Town. Several superb black and white David Goldblatt photographs inside. Also biographies of the illustrious occupants including Bomber Harris. and Montgomery of Alamein. Details visit by Nelson Mandela.
