Glen Moray 12 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky Black Watch Regimental Tin (Vintage, 1990s)
A vintage Glen Moray 12 Year Old (750ml, 43% ABV), presented in the collectable Scotlands Historic Highland Regiments tin the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) edition, fourth in the series. Distilled and bottled in Elgin, Scotland (bottle code B266), from the era before Glen Moray switched its labelling from Highland Malt to Speyside.
The tin features detailed period artwork a Piper & Sergeant (1893) and marching/mounted Black Watch soldiers plus a printed regimental history inside the lid, tracing the Black Watch from 1715 through both World Wars.
Nose: Vanilla, honey, fresh grass and cereals. Palate: Fruity, floral, white chocolate and malt. Finish: Short, with caramel, vanilla and oak.
A genuine collectors piece these regimental tins are long discontinued and increasingly hard to find complete.
Bottle is leak free and factory sealed.
