Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix 2010 750ml Single Malt Whisky in Tin.

In January 2010,after an extraordinary winter,four of the warehouses at The Glenfiddich Distillery collapsed under a huge weight of snow.This Whisky was made using a selection of the finest aged oak casks from the snow damaged warehouses marrying together different ages of mature Glenfiddich,some very old,to represent the range of single malts that had been held in the warehouses.Some of these casks had previously held Oloroso sherry and some had been made using American oak-each was chosen to make a unique contribution to the taste and aroma of the final whisky.

The final strength is 47.6%.It is a collectible whisky born of chance and adversity.It is a limited edition,one of a kind and was only bottled in 2010.
